Learning to model flying
Anyone can learn to fly a model
Learning to fly at model flying club Valkenswaard.?
How does it work for us?
At our small club it is very easy to find an instructor through one of the board members and to make an appointment with them.
Most of these instructors can pair you and his transmitter so that he can take control at all times, this generally prevents a lot of damage to the aircraft. (this is only possible if you fly with the same brand of transmitter).
- You first start with some explanation so that you understand a little better how an aircraft works and reacts.
- You start at a safe height and learn a number of basic elements of flying. (you also get tips here)
Eg. what does an airplane do when it makes a turn ?, what is stall ?, what happens when the airplane flies towards me ?, never fly into the sun! ........ and so much more.
You will soon see that piloting an aircraft involves more than just sitting at the control sticks of your transmitter.
- Then there are certain maneuvers you must be able to perform
Make a flat flight in the air, make a neat loop, make an emergency landing without an engine, make a go-around
If you master these maneuvers, you can start flying independently.
Finally
The aim is not to scare you but to make you aware that you are responsible for your hobby.
After all, a model airplane can reach high speeds and generally has a dangerously fast-spinning propeller in front. Many people will certainly come a long way in a season (year) and can already fly independently. Afterwards, it is really enjoyable that you fly independently and can perform more and more arts with your model airplane.
If you take a membership at the model flying club Valkenswaard, the lessons with the instructors are always free .
